A Moment of Respect for Wilson McMillan

Yesterday, across the colleges leagues, clubs took a moment to remember and pay their respects to Wilson McMillan, who sadly passed away last month.

Wilson was a much-loved and highly respected figure within the league, having served as SPAFA Financial Secretary and carrying out the role with great dedication and professionalism.

Behind the scenes, roles like Wilson’s often go unnoticed, but his contribution was an important one. He quietly got on with the job and did it exceptionally well, helping keep the SPAFA running smoothly for the clubs and people involved.

Before kick-off yesterday, colleges teams stood together for a minute’s silence in Wilson’s memory.

It was a fitting tribute to a wonderful man who gave his time and commitment to the SPAFA and the clubs within it.

Our thoughts remain with Wilson’s family, friends and everyone who knew him.

Rest in peace, Wilson. You will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
