Six games are on the radar this week across the Premier League, Championship and Conference League, with cracking contests, a top-end showdown and plenty of room for me to get spectacularly carried away.
I’ve studied the form, picked my winners and added a scoreline to every match.
Now let’s find out how quickly it all comes back to haunt me.
Premier League
Clydebank Red Star v Clydeside Athletic
Hugh’s Take: A proper ding-dong battle from the first whistle. Clydeside will throw plenty of punches, but Red Star’s firepower up front is just too potent to hold back for 90 minutes. Expect end-to-end chaos, but Clydebank takes the spoils in a six-goal thriller.

Rutherglen Glencairn v Netherton AFC
Hugh’s Take: I’m going big with this prediction. I fancy Rutherglen Glencairn to get on top early and create plenty of chances. Netherton will be determined to make this prediction look ridiculous, but I’m backing Glencairn for a convincing win.

Glasgow Ansar v Cambuslang FA
Hugh’s Take: An absolute goal-fest. Defending? Never heard of it. Both managers will be tearing their hair out, but the neutral is in for a treat. Cambuslang just edges this seven-goal madness purely because they’ll carry that little bit extra edge in injury time.
Glasgow Ansar 3 – 4 Cambuslang
Pollok United V Muirend AFC
Hugh’s Take: This looks like a really competitive Championship fixture. I expect Pollok United to make it a difficult game for Muirend, but I’m backing Muirend to create the better chances and find the goals they need to take the points.

Vale of Leven v Lomond FC
Vale of Leven 2 – 2 Lomond FC
Hugh’s Take: The big one. Top of the league, massive stakes, and high drama. Neither side deserves to lose this, and neither will. Expect an extraordinarily exciting draw with late twists that leaves both managers claiming they should have won it.
Vale of Leven 2 – 2 Lomond FC
Banknock v DTI AFC
Hugh’s Take: Another pulse-pounding, exciting battle. Banknock will make it uncomfortable, but DTI AFC has that knack for finding a late winner when the game breaks open. DTI comes out on top after a relentless 90 minutes.
Banknock 2 – 3 DTI AFC
Six predictions locked in. No changing them once the first whistle goes.
