Leaving Stepford Sports Centre with three points on a Saturday morning is never an easy task. Cambuslang Milan had already shown what they were capable of earlier in the season, with Castlemilk CFC among the sides to find that out.
Taking them on at their home ground was always going to be a difficult test, but David Callaghan’s Bishopton side came away with all three points.
The difference on the day came down to the goals. Ross Hatch got his name on the scoresheet, Volodymyr Kinakh added another, and Adam O’Neil rounded off the scoring with the crucial third and match-winning goal.
