That’s the kind of opening month every manager dreams about.
Glasgow Athletic have made a flying start to life in the Colleges Conference League, and at the centre of it all has been their manager Chris McLaren.
The campaign got off to a winning start with a 3–1 victory over Burnhill, followed by a 2–1 win against Rosebank.
The wins kept coming, with a 5–3 victory over LS Memorial, a 3–0 win against Banknock and an emphatic 8–0 victory over Glasgow Medics.
Glasgow Athletic followed that with a 3–0 victory over Queen’s Park SFC, before Chris McLaren’s side completed a perfect August with a 2–1 win over Cathcart.
