Back to Sundays — Meeting Some Old Favourites

There is a new story waiting for us on one side of the pitch. GDSFC secretary Nim has pointed Footy Focus towards Mark Ewing and the work he puts into a young Milngavie side, and we’re looking forward to finding out more about both Mark and the team.

But there will also be some very familiar faces on the other side.

We first discovered a club that had grown from a charity kickabout into an amateur football side with ambitions of progressing through the GDSFC.

Eight months later, the story has moved on.

Vale are now in Division Two, unbeaten after four league games and sitting second with ten points. Today they face a Milngavie side with six points from three and an opportunity to move closer to the leading pack themselves.
