The Story Behind the Image
Albion Rovers entered the spring of 2021 near the foot of Scottish League Two following a heavily disrupted season and a prolonged suspension of fixtures.
Under manager Brian Reid, Rovers enjoyed an impressive April, collecting 17 points from eight matches with five wins, two draws and just one defeat.
That run of form helped the Cliftonhill side finish seventh in League Two, moving clear of the relegation places and bringing a difficult season to a positive conclusion.
In His Own Words
Reflecting on his Manager of the Month award in May 2021, Brian Reid was keen to share the credit with everyone at Albion Rovers.
