Another weekend of action has thrown up some outstanding individual performances, and there is no shortage of contenders for this week’s Player of the Week award.
From match-winning goals and hat-tricks to huge defensive displays and goalkeeping heroics, we’ve picked 9 nominees — with no more than one player representing each club.

A true masterclass in finishing. Smith led the line brilliantly for DTI, netting 4 high-quality goals to secure a dominant victory for his side.
An absolute powerhouse display. Quinn was flawless in his defensive duties, capped off a Man of the Match performance, and stepped up to score 2 vital goals to win the game for Glencairn.
McCulloch was excellent all game long, the speedy striker chased every lost cause and scored 2 very well taken goals to win his side the match.
Talk about a game-changer. Cullen came to life after the break, bagging a superb second-half hat-trick—including a high-pressure penalty—to complete a thrilling 3-2 comeback.
The former Scottish amateur international put in his trademark classy display at the heart of the defence, maintaining total composure and leadership to keep a clean sheet for Oban.
Harkins carried his midweek form straight into the weekend. The midfield maestro drove the team forward all day, controlling the tempo and chipping in with 2 crucial goals.
We’re still in the opening weeks of the new season, but the standard of these Player of the Week nominations tells its own story.
Four-goal hauls, hat-tricks, assists, match-winning contributions and defenders making their mark at both ends of the pitch — and that is before you consider some of the performances that haven’t made this week’s final nine.
