GOALS GALORE AS UNDER 19s CHAMPIONSHIP KICKS OFF IN STYLE

The opening round of the Scottish 19’s Championship AFA 26/27 produced high drama, emphatic scorelines, and statements of intent as teams across the division kicked off their campaign.

Milton AFC 2008 delivered the standout performance of the day, tearing through North Kelvin United U19s in an eye-watering 7–2 thriller.

Not far behind in dominant fashion were Bo’ness Community Amateur U19’s, who proved far too strong for Barrhead Football Club, comfortably cruising to a 5–1 home victory.

Away days proved particularly fruitful for several clubs:

Cumbernauld Colts U19 Yellow put on a masterclass away from home, beating Summerston AFC 4–0 while keeping a clean sheet.

Blantyre Soccer Academy U19 produced an impressive performance to triumph 4–1 over St Cadocs U19s AFC.

In a tight, tense affair at Thorniewood, Giffnock SC U19s AFC snatched all three points with a hard-fought 1–0 victory against Thorniewood U19s.
