Queen’s Park SFC are officially back in the win column.
After a grueling run of five straight defeats, the lads delivered a statement 4-2 victory over JS CC FC on Saturday morning. While the entire squad dug deep to turn the tide, the morning belonged to one man: Ciaran “Faddy” McFadden.

Benched to start the match, McFadden’s moment came earlier than expected when an early injury forced a quick shuffle up front.
Entering a match that’s swinging end to end on the fly is never easy, and Faddy took a little time to adjust to the tempo. But once the second half kicked off, he didn’t just find his feet—he found the net.
The striker delivered a second-half performance which showed off his clinical finishing:
The Breakthrough: Faddy opened his account with a spectacular diving header, throwing himself into the danger zone to break JS CC FC’s resistance.
The Clincher: Pure, unadulterated quality. Picking up the ball outside the penalty area, he cut onto his left foot and launched a lethal curler straight into the net. Absolute magic.
Two chances, two goals, pure ruthlessness.

Manager Andy McNaught was left beaming at full-time. While Faddy’s individual brilliance took the headlines, the overall team resilience to bounce back from a rough patch showed real character. Queen’s Park showed grit, quality, and a killer instinct when it mattered most.
The losing streak is dead. The momentum is back. Up the Park! ⚽️🔥
