Ciaran “Faddy” McFadden made a major impact after coming off the bench early, scoring twice in the second half as Queen’s Park secured an important three points.

⚽ You started Ciaran on the bench but brought him on early. Why did you make the change and how did you feel he played?
“It was a blow to lose Big Andy to injury so early, but I knew Faddy could step in.
“He’s been unlucky the last few weeks not to get more starts, so he was chomping at the bit.”
🔥 Two goals in the second half — was Ciaran’s performance the difference-maker?
“Two real bits of quality from the big man which made the difference for sure.
“We were the better team in the second half and that killer instinct was huge for us. His diving header was a collector’s item — but what a finish!”

“I felt as if the fixtures couldn’t have been any more unkind the last few weeks, so we saw this as a big chance to stop the rot and I’m glad we took it.’
“No reason we can’t build on it over the next few weeks either!”
