GDSFC Managers of the Month: August’s Six Winners Revealed

The first GDSFC Managers of the Month have been revealed, with six managers recognised across the Premiership through to Division Four for August 2026.

The first full month of the GDSFC season is in the books — and six managers have been recognised following their sides’ performances during August.

The Brothers in Arms Manager of the Month awards cover all six GDSFC divisions, with the opening weeks of the campaign already producing plenty of early talking points.

From established sides making strong starts to clubs beginning new chapters in the league, these are the six managers recognised for August.

PREMIERSHIP

Paul Wilson — Todholm AFC

Wilson takes the first Premiership award of the season after Todholm’s opening month in the top division.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Tony Murphy — Rossvale Sunday

Rossvale Sunday’s start to the new campaign earns Tony Murphy the Championship Manager of the Month award.

DIVISION ONE

Brian Dornan — Third Lanark Sun

Brian Dornan is the August winner in Division One, with Third Lanark among the sides to make their mark during the opening weeks.

DIVISION TWO

Ryan McMillan — Castlemilk FA

The Division Two award goes to Ryan McMillan following Castlemilk FA’s August campaign.

DIVISION THREE

Lloyd Ruby — Glasgow Villa

Glasgow Villa manager Lloyd Ruby takes the honours in Division Three after the opening month of the season.

DIVISION FOUR

Jamie Morrison — Woodhill AFC

Jamie Morrison completes August’s six winners after Woodhill AFC’s impressive introduction to life in the GDSFC.

The first Manager of the Month awards are now decided, giving six managers recognition for the starts their sides have made to the new season.
