Each week, clubs across Colleges Saturday Morning football are invited to nominate players they believe deserve recognition for their performances.
The nominations and reasons below come directly from the clubs themselves and are gratefully received by Footy Focus. They are not our selections. From these nominations, we will choose our final Team of the Week.
GOALKEEPERS
A top performance from Owen on Saturday vrs Rutherglen, The shot stopper was unfortunate to be on the loosing team.
Deano has had a great start to this season and his form is only getting better. He produced 2 or 3 excellent saves on Saturday with last being virtually the last kick of the ball to ensure we took all 3 points.
DEFENDERS
Brian lead the team from the back with either class and composure, Brian’s leadership was vital to the club picking up a big win.
defensively solid keeping a clean sheet at the back and superb going forward scored a contender for goal of the season outside of the boot outside the box top bins what a goal
Del showed Great engine on Saturday as he was up and down the park all game long. The attacking defender showed his qualities at both ends of the park.
Scott was playing out of position and gave an absolute fantastic performance for the team.
A solid performance from Scott at the back who showed real composure on the ball as well.
MIDFIELDERS
Motm performance scored 4 great goals and was excellent all game.
Paul worked extremely hard for the club today and he created multiple chances for his teamates.
Brandon was a stand out again, constantly being a threat on and off the ball
3 goals from the wing terrorised the opposition defence with his pace and dribbling all game.
Jack really made us tick in midfield and he topped off his fabulous performance with 2 absolutely worldies from 25 yards.
STRIKERS
4 goals 5 assists playing in the 10 what more needs to be said, Top quality performance 👌
Another two goals from the striker was enough to seal his place in this weeks squad of the week.
Vlod led the line for us on Saturday and was constant threat both through the middle and from wider areas on the 2nd half. His hard work doesn’t go unrecognised by his teammates and he put in a great shift and was rewarded with scoring our 2nd goal on the day.
Aldo was a big part of everything good going forward that came from Clydebank Red Star

We are reviewing how we use these submissions so that every nomination still receives recognition, while also reducing repetition across our weekly features.
From next week, we plan to make the nomination process simpler and use the strongest selections in a more focused Team of the Week feature.
