🏆 PLAYER OF THE MONTH – AUGUST

Seventeen goals in seven games made for an extraordinary August — but who takes our first Player of the Month award?

Our first Footy Focus Player of the Month award is here after an August packed with fixtures and standout performances.

Our winner featured seven times for his club during the month — and produced an outstanding individual return.

KYLE MACDONALD — WESTHILL UNITED

Westhill United striker Kyle MacDonald has made an outstanding start to the season.

Seven games. 17 goals.

MacDonald opened his account with four goals against Third Lanark AFC in a 5–2 victory.

He followed that with a hat-trick against Kings Park United in a 6–2 win, before scoring twice in the 3–2 victory over Lokomotiv Glasgow.

Another hat-trick followed as Westhill United edged a 12-goal thriller against Southside, winning 7–5.

Even in defeat against Pollok United, MacDonald added another two goals, before scoring three more as Westhill ran out 13–1 winners against Ansar.

The only game in which he failed to score came in the 3–2 defeat to Remo FC, although he still contributed an assist.

Four. Three. Two. Three. Two. Three. Zero.

Seventeen goals in seven appearances — more than enough to make Kyle MacDonald our August Player of the Month. 🏆

The question now is simple — who can stop him?

Kyle MacDonald is our August Player of the Month. 🏆
